The best defense is a good offense. How true. Haha. Think of it this way. The enemy has 1500 hp, you have 1500hp, you cause 300dmg per turn, he causes 100. You can end it withing 5 turns, having 1000hp left.

As compared to if you were to cause 500dmg per turn, and he causes, lets say the armor halves, thats considered imba armor already :3, so without the imba armor, lets say you equipped attack boosting armor :3, 200dmg to you. You end it in 3 turns, with 900hp.

Oh yea. Umm, if I'm going to half the defense, i need to twice the attack. :3

See? Attack ftw. Rather save on oppurtunity to get injured than to take many with little each time.

But thats not the best. IMO, the best setup is one that offers both good defence and strong attack. XD Which basically means, GAY ALL THE WAYYYYYYYYYYY!

:D Which also means lots of time spent training. :s Earning money for gay stuffs. And hoping for good picks. :3 But then, thats only at the beginning. Then once you start owning, the money pours in easily too! =D And you pwn bosses. =x So this method is a mid-gamer! =s or late, depending on how pro you are. Its basically the work now reap benefits later thing. XD

So...good offense is...suicide gamer.

And good defense is...turtle gamer. XD

Hahaha. In real life however...

If you focus on attack, and your opponent focuses on defense, all I can say is, if you don't have the Stamina to last, or the skill to surpass, you're screwed.

Of course, as defense, you sure as heck better have stamina and skill too. :3

So at the end of the day, neither is better, is it? :3 Its all a matter of skill. x)

Budden, I still stick to my favourite.

Defend when needed, attack otherwise. And when in doubt, FEINT! =X Or just spam sporadic hits. Hope your opponent has a big mass. It'll connect somewhere then. Higher chance. Oh permutations, permutations. XD

Uh, NA for Kendo. XD Cos you need to call the right hit. Or something. You can't really hear the shouts clearly sometimes. XD

Of course, you can always aim for the...vital points!
